Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Day 17 witnessed several interesting developments as the captaincy contender tasks intensified the competition among the housemates. Rohith and Trigun lost their opportunity to become captaincy contenders during the temptation task, while Varshini and Aman, and later Sudheer and Srushti, competed for their respective spots.

Meanwhile, a discussion about Naresh’s nickname also caught attention. Trigun said Naresh had overcome his personal challenges and deserved to be an inspiration to others. He objected to housemates calling Naresh by a nickname referring to his short height. Ram Prasad also said that Trigun was taking the issue seriously.
