

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the Chief Secretary to allocate ₹1 crore each to district collectors to address drinking water supply issues. He instructed officials to ensure tanker supply in shortage areas and carry out repairs of borewells on a priority basis.
During a review meeting at the RTGS centre in the Secretariat, the Chief Minister emphasized increasing the use of Artificial Intelligence in citizen services. He suggested forming an expert advisory council for AI implementation and conducting workshops to expand drone usage in the state. He also recommended studying drone-based mining surveillance in Madhya Pradesh for possible implementation in Andhra Pradesh. The CM approved a proposal to recognize vehicle dealers as additional registration authorities to simplify vehicle registration processes.
He further directed officials to adopt innovative ideas for improving public services, closely monitor welfare schemes through field visits, and ensure senior officers spend more time in the field. He also stressed real-time market analysis to protect farmers from price fluctuations and mandated regular field inspections by secretaries, HODs, and collectors. Additionally, he instructed that all non-emergency government services should be made fully online. The meeting was attended by Minister Parthasarathi and Chief Secretary Sai Prasad.
