Case Filed Against Udhayanidhi Stalin Under Multiple BNS Sections

A case has been registered against Tamil Nadu opposition leader and DMK MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case includes allegations related to promoting disharmony and causing disturbance to public peace under Section 196 of the BNS.

Authorities have also invoked sections related to alleged provocation of riots, making objectionable remarks in public places, intimidation, intentional insult, and comments allegedly affecting the dignity of a woman. Cases have been filed under BNS Sections 192, 296(b), 351, 352, and 79, and further investigation is underway.
