

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on achieving an official induction into the Japanese martial art of Kendo/Kenjutsu. The Prime Minister praised his decades long dedication to martial arts, calling it inspiring and a strong message to the youth. Despite being actively involved in public life and cinema, maintaining discipline and commitment toward martial arts reflects his character, Modi said, adding that such practices require not only physical strength but also mental balance, patience, and self-control.
Responding to the message, Pawan Kalyan expressed his heartfelt gratitude, calling the Prime Minister’s words a great honor and encouragement. He highlighted that martial arts play a vital role in building physical fitness, focus, and resilience against stress. Pawan Kalyan also appreciated initiatives like Fit India, stating that Modi’s leadership inspires the vision of a healthy and disciplined society. He added that the encouragement from the Prime Minister strengthens his resolve to serve the people with greater dedication.
