The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a critical advisory for passenger safety following rising tensions in West Asia. Travelers have been advised to avoid airspace over nine countries in the region. The DGCA has declared several nations as no-fly zones to ensure safety, including Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. Authorities have instructed that no commercial or private flights operate over these areas at any altitude until further notice.
The advisory highlights the importance of caution amid escalating geopolitical risks. Airlines and passengers have been urged to strictly follow the DGCA instructions to avoid potential hazards. Continuous monitoring of the situation is underway, and any updates regarding airspace restrictions will be communicated promptly.
