After the first round of talks between the United States and Iran, strong statements were made regarding the negotiations. Former US President Donald Trump said that a military victory over Iran had already been achieved. He stated that the outcome of the talks is not of concern to him and emphasized that, under any circumstances, the United States would emerge as the winner. He also made it clear that there would be no retreat on the issue of the Hormuz region.
Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance said that the talks have not yet reached any conclusion. He noted that no agreement has been reached with Iran so far, as Tehran is not willing to accept the proposed conditions. He stressed that without positive commitment from Iran, a deal is not possible, and confirmed that the discussions ended without any breakthrough.
