Superstar Rajinikanth is not just a celebrated figure on the silver screen but is also regarded as a guiding force by millions. Speaking to the media recently at the Chennai airport, he expressed concern over the behavior of today’s youth and made some significant remarks. In particular, he responded to the way fans have been risking their lives during the campaign events of his fellow actor and political leader Vijay. He warned that incidents such as fans climbing onto vehicles and getting caught in stampedes are highly dangerous. Referring to the tragic stampede in Karur, he said it is unfortunate that such incidents continue to recur before people have even recovered from past tragedies. “If something happens to you, it is your family that will suffer, not your heroes. Your safety is in your own hands,” Rajinikanth advised.
He also emphasized that the student phase is extremely valuable and urged youngsters to focus on their education. He cautioned that wasting time during youth can negatively impact one’s future. According to him, truly honoring one’s heroes lies in fulfilling parents’ aspirations and achieving greater goals in life. Rajinikanth also issued a strong warning against drug abuse, stating that addiction can ruin not only an individual’s life but also their entire family. He advised young people to stay away from negative influences and harmful friendships. On the professional front, he shared that about 20% of the shooting for his upcoming film Coolie 2 is still pending. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has generated significant anticipation among fans. He also hinted that an official announcement regarding a possible collaboration with Kamal Haasan would be made at the right time. Concluding his message, he stressed that health, education and family are the three most important pillars of life, and only by safeguarding them does any form of admiration truly hold meaning.
