Trial Run Conducted at Bhogapuram Airport, First Flight Lands on Runway

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the successful validation flight of the Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport marks a major milestone in Andhra Pradesh’s aviation sector. He extended his congratulations to the people of the state, especially those from Uttarandhra, stating that the achievement would significantly strengthen regional connectivity.

The Chief Minister noted that the Bhogapuram airport would act as a catalyst for economic and industrial growth in the Uttarandhra region. He expressed confidence that the project would provide a major boost to development and help the region prepare for rapid progress in the coming years.

Naidu also recalled that the airport was planned and initiated during the NDA government’s tenure between 2014 and 2019. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision, leadership, and commitment to the progress of Andhra Pradesh. The airport is expected to commence commercial flight operations from June, making it accessible to the public.
