

A threat letter warning of explosions targeting Vande Bharat trains has triggered alarm among railway authorities. The letter, addressed to the Railway General Manager, claims that a four-member jihadi group allegedly based in Hyderabad is planning the attack. It mentions a plot to plant bombs along railway tracks used by Vande Bharat trains, with an intention to kill around 250 people. Officials confirmed that the anonymous letter was sent by post and received on the 3rd of this month.
Following the threat, railway and security agencies have gone on high alert. Intensive checks are being carried out at railway stations and along tracks, while additional security has been deployed for Vande Bharat trains. An investigation has been launched to trace the sender of the letter. Authorities have assured passengers that all necessary precautions are being taken to ensure their safety.
