BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao reacted to the municipal election results, thanking the people and party workers for their support. He said that despite various efforts by the ruling party, it failed to win the confidence of voters. He recalled that in the recent panchayat polls, BRS secured around 40 percent of gram panchayats and saw thousands of sarpanches elected.
Comparing the outcome with the 2020 municipal elections, he stated that the party achieved better results this time. He noted that BRS won directly in several places and emerged as the single largest party in many hung municipalities. He also alleged misuse of money, liquor and official machinery but appreciated voters for participating without fear.
Speaking on Singareni, he said BRS is working with the CPI to check alleged irregularities. On decisions regarding support in hung bodies, he added that the party would consult its president K. Chandrashekar Rao and consider local leadership views. He affirmed that BRS would continue to fight on public issues and move forward with confidence in future elections.
