

On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to distribute the sacred Talambralu associated with the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Kalyanam to devotees. In view of the celebrations scheduled to be held on the 27th of next month, 2026, special arrangements have been made for devotees from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who are unable to travel to Bhadrachalam due to various reasons.
Continuing the initiative launched in previous years, TGSRTC, in coordination with the Telangana Endowments Department, will deliver the sacred Kalyana Talambralu directly to devotees’ homes. Devotees wishing to receive the Talambralu packets can book them online through the website www.tgsrtclogistics.co.inAlternatively, bookings can also be made at TGSRTC Logistics centers by paying Rs. 151 and registering the required details, said RTC Managing Director V. Nagi Reddy. The Talambralu will be delivered to devotees via home delivery after the Kalyanotsavam. The MD unveiled the booking poster at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad.
The MD explained that the Talambralu consist of specially prepared rice grains, traditionally cleaned and processed according to sacred customs. The initiative to deliver these holy offerings to devotees’ homes was launched three years ago with the intention of extending the spiritual experience to those unable to attend in person. The service has received an overwhelming response, with nearly 89,000 devotees booking the Talambralu in 2022 alone and lakhs of devotees benefiting from the initiative over the past three years.
TGSRTC has appealed to devotees who cannot attend the grand Sri Rama Navami celebrations at Bhadrachalam on the 27th to avail themselves of this service. Bookings are available at all TGSRTC Logistics counters across the state, and marketing executives will also accept orders directly from devotees.
