Short Circuit Caused the Fire - Fire Officer Sridhar

A fire broke out at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Nampally, Hyderabad, causing extensive damage to seized property and evidence. Several physical evidences collected in multiple cases were completely destroyed in the incident. Officials confirmed that around 40 to 50 computers seized in various cases were gutted in the fire, along with hard disks stored in another room.

Fire department officials stated that a short circuit was the cause of the fire. According to Fire Officer Sridhar and DFO Sridas, the room used to store seized properties was completely damaged. Firefighters managed to control the blaze, and further assessment of losses is underway.
