Three more cases have been registered against Immadi Ravi, the prime accused behind the notorious piracy website iBomma, intensifying the cybercrime probe in Hyderabad. The Cyber Crime Police, acting on complaints from film industry stalwarts like Manchu Manoj and director Dil Raju, have filed PT warrants in these additional cases, bringing the total to five. Ravi, who allegedly earned over Rs 30 crore through illegal movie streaming and betting apps, was produced in Nampally Court, where he faces judicial remand in one case and potential arrests in the others.
The police presented Ravi in court amid ongoing investigations revealing his use of cryptocurrency to launder money and hosting the site through international servers. Bail arguments for the main case were postponed to Wednesday, December 3, 2025, as authorities seek further custody to unearth key leads, including user data of millions who accessed pirated content. Ravi has reportedly admitted to his mistakes during questioning, but his release remains uncertain with the mounting legal hurdles.
