Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made significant remarks regarding the ongoing conflicts in Iran and the Russia–Ukraine war, stating that military confrontation is not a solution to any problem. Expressing deep concern over the evolving situation in Iran and the prolonged war between Russia and Ukraine, he emphasized that lasting solutions cannot be achieved on the battlefield.
In an official statement, the Prime Minister urged global leaders to adopt dialogue and diplomacy as the primary path forward. He stressed that reducing regional tensions requires peaceful negotiations and constructive engagement. Reaffirming India’s long-standing stand, he stated that the country has consistently supported peace, dialogue, and diplomatic efforts, warning that wars only lead to increased human suffering across the world.
