The Central Government has carried out a major reshuffle in the Central Board of Secondary Education leadership, transferring Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta amid controversy surrounding the digital evaluation system. Concerns over technical failures in the on screen marking platform and issues in the revaluation portal have triggered widespread discussions among students, parents, and educators.
Following the reshuffle, Rahul Singh has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Authorities are currently reviewing the implementation of the digital evaluation system, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and reliability.
