The Nampally Court has dismissed the bail petitions filed by Imandi Ravi, the alleged operator of the piracy website iBomma. Ravi had approached the court seeking bail in five cases registered against him at the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police Station. During the hearing, police informed the court that the investigation is still at a crucial stage.
The prosecution further argued that Ravi holds foreign citizenship and, if released on bail, there is a high risk of him fleeing the country. After considering the submissions from both sides, the court rejected all bail petitions, citing the seriousness of the allegations and the ongoing investigation.
