A major fire broke out in Gudivada, Krishna district, in the early hours of Sunday. The fire erupted in the Addepalli Complex at Nehru Chowk center. The flames, which initially started in a cell phone shop, gradually spread to other shops. A junior college and an SBI branch are also located in the same complex. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. No casualties were reported in the incident. MLA Venigandla Ramu inspected the scene. District Assistant Fire Officer Anjaneyulu stated that property worth approximately Rs. 1 crore was damaged in the fire.
