The renowned Sabarimala Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Kerala is witnessing heavy crowds of devotees. The Makaravilakku darshanam, which began on December 30, is ongoing. Devotees are waiting over 12 hours for their turn to have darshan. So far, more than 5,00,000 devotees have visited the temple. The temple authorities have been making special arrangements for poojas and services to ensure smooth conduct.
Due to the massive influx of devotees, the queue has extended up to Pamba, officials said. To ensure the convenience and safety of devotees, measures such as crowd control, medical assistance and special guidelines have been implemented. Devotees are patiently waiting in line and receiving darshan with devotion, reverence, and spiritual fervor.
