Asia's largest aviation exhibition is being held grandly at Begumpet Airport. During the three-day event, domestic and foreign aircraft captivated visitors. Aircraft designed with indigenous technology, along with luxurious planes manufactured with foreign technology, were a special attraction. Pilots and company representatives explained the unique features of the aircraft, and visitors enthusiastically posed for photos with them.
A source of pride for India at this exhibition was the brand new 'Dhruv NG' helicopter designed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. This is a next-generation version designed entirely for civilian aviation needs. It features powerful engines capable of operating in high-altitude areas and adverse weather conditions, and modern amenities such as a glass cockpit. This helicopter, which will play a crucial role in emergency medical services and disaster management, can carry 12 to 14 passengers. Also, the IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft designed by Russia for connecting smaller towns was another special attraction.
