Amid rising tensions in West Asia and the Gulf region, the Government of India has set up a special control room in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to assist Indian citizens in the region. The move comes as the situation escalates due to the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict, which has raised safety concerns for Indian nationals living or traveling in Gulf countries.
The control room will operate from 9 AM to 9 PM and provide assistance, information, and emergency coordination for Indians in affected regions.
