I Respect the Supreme Court Verdict, Says Prathyusha’s Mother Sarojini Devi

Prathyusha’s mother, Sarojini Devi, said that she respects the verdict of the Supreme Court of India. However, she expressed that she does not believe complete justice was delivered in her daughter’s case. She alleged that her daughter was murdered and that evidence in the case was altered. According to her, if all the evidence had been properly considered, the accused would have received life imprisonment.

She also stated that the Muniswamy report was not taken into consideration by the courts. Instead, a three member committee was formed and another report was submitted. She felt that the Muniswamy report should also have been examined. Sarojini Devi further said that she never saw her daughter’s body and still does not know how she died.
