Delhi Police have foiled a major international terror conspiracy aimed at carrying out large-scale destruction in India. Security agencies acted swiftly to prevent what was described as a planned attack intended to cause bloodshed on Indian soil.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the group had links to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and extremist organizations based in Bangladesh. Eight suspects were taken into custody while they were allegedly preparing for destructive activities.
Simultaneous operations were conducted in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Six individuals were arrested from Tiruppur district in Tamil Nadu, while two others were apprehended in West Bengal.
Officials stated that further investigation is underway and emphasized that timely action helped avert a potential security threat.
