Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the vision implemented three decades ago in IT, technology, and power sector reforms is now yielding strong results. Speaking at the South Asia Learning Summit 2026 held at the Indian School of Business, he emphasized that the future lies in a knowledge-driven economy. He noted that early encouragement to IT helped attract global giants like Microsoft to Hyderabad and led to the establishment of institutions such as ISB and Genome Valley, positioning the Telugu states as leaders in the pharma sector.
Looking ahead, the Chief Minister highlighted plans to leverage emerging technologies such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and drones to enhance governance and development. He stressed the importance of green energy sectors like green hydrogen and green ammonia in ensuring sustainable power. He also pointed out the growing relevance of piped natural gas amid global fuel shortages. Additionally, Naidu revealed that AI is being used to improve Tirumala darshan efficiency and that digital health records, AI doctors, and AI agronomist services will soon benefit citizens and farmers alike.
