DGGI Takes Strong Action Against GST Evasion

Officials of the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) conducted extensive raids under the Hyderabad zonal unit and uncovered a major tax evasion case. Following the investigation, Sunil Kumar, Managing Director of Orange Travels, and N. Chethan, MD of Trillion Lead Factory, were arrested. Authorities stated that the duo was involved in tax evasion exceeding ₹50 crore.

After being produced before the court, both accused were remanded to judicial custody. Officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to identify additional financial irregularities linked to the case.
