

CM N. Chandrababu Naidu conducted a high-level review on the diarrhoea outbreak in Srikakulam and the milk contamination incident in Rajahmundry. He spoke with senior health officials and district authorities to assess the situation and enquired about the condition of patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
Officials informed that 76 people are currently receiving treatment in connection with the Srikakulam incident. While most are stable, two patients remain in critical condition, with one on ventilator support and another undergoing dialysis. The Chief Minister directed officials to provide special medical attention to them. Authorities also stopped water supply through pipelines and arranged safe drinking water through alternative sources.
Regarding the Rajahmundry milk incident, officials stated that the affected individuals are under continuous medical supervision and that milk samples have been sent to a laboratory for testing. The Chief Minister emphasized prioritizing public health and warned against any negligence. He also directed departments to work in coordination to prevent such incidents in the future.
