The Telangana State Election Commission has taken a serious view of the remarks made by senior Congress leader Jagga Reddy. The SEC has directed the Sangareddy district SP to register a case against him and submit a report on the allegations that he made comments that hurt the sentiments of voters.
Reacting to the Election Commission's actions, Jagga Reddy said that he had only mentioned the issue of BRS fraudulent votes. He said that there were a large number of fraudulent votes in one ward and that the clashes broke out due to the police action against a Congress worker who tried to stop them. Jagga Reddy criticized the election officials for failing to remove the fraudulent votes.
