Former Minister T. Harish Rao reacted to the municipal election results. He congratulated BRS leaders who won as corporators and councillors, saying they succeeded despite alleged pressure and irregularities by the ruling Congress party. He also appreciated party workers and social media volunteers for their efforts.
He stated that the government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy could not stop the BRS victories. According to him, winning in over 700 wards was not a coincidence but a reflection of growing public dissatisfaction. He claimed that voters supported BRS despite the influence of money, power and threats.
Harish Rao criticized the Congress government, saying development had slowed and key promises were not fulfilled. He said the panchayat and municipal poll outcomes show rising support for BRS. He added that the party would continue its fight with the people’s support.
