A security-shaking incident unfolded at Shamshabad Airport. Bomb threats were reportedly issued in succession to three flights an IndiGo flight arriving from Kannur in Kerala, a Lufthansa flight coming to Hyderabad from Frankfurt, and a British Airways flight departing from London. As soon as the alerts were received, Shamshabad airport authorities became vigilant and allowed these aircraft to land following emergency protocols. The entire security system was intensified within moments to bring the situation under control.
After landing, bomb squad teams thoroughly inspected the aircraft, while passengers were safely deboarded and shifted to designated isolation zones. Treating every passenger’s safety as the top priority, officials sealed all three aircraft and continued comprehensive inspections. Investigation teams are working to trace the source of these threats. Incidents like this once again highlight the importance of stringent airport security measures.
