The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a major step toward building a strong Artificial Intelligence and Quantum ecosystem in the state by signing seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading institutions. The agreements were signed in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during the India AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. As part of the initiative, the state has also laid the foundation for the Amaravati Quantum Computing Center to develop Amaravati as a “Quantum Valley.” The MoUs, including partnerships with IBM and other organizations, aim to strengthen infrastructure and skill development in AI and quantum technologies.
The initiative is expected to transform Andhra Pradesh into a national and global hub for AI and quantum innovation, enhancing technological capabilities and creating employment opportunities. The agreements focus on providing advanced training to students and youth, promoting research, and expanding digital infrastructure. The state government is also emphasizing the use of AI and quantum technologies in governance to improve public services and streamline administrative processes, paving the way for a future-ready technological ecosystem.
