

In the latest Union Budget, the central government has allocated significant funds to key sectors, highlighting its focus on infrastructure, security, and inclusive development.
The transport sector received the highest allocation of ₹5,98,520 crore. Rural development has been allotted ₹2,73,108 crore, while defence spending stands at ₹5,04,585 crore. The Home Affairs Ministry received ₹2,55,734 crore, and agriculture along with allied activities has been allocated ₹1,62,671 crore.
Education has been allotted ₹1,39,309 crore, social welfare ₹1,09,025 crore, and the health sector ₹1,04,599 crore, reflecting an emphasis on human development.
Urban development received ₹85,522 crore, IT and telecom ₹74,560 crore, and commerce and industry ₹70,206 crore. Scientific departments were allocated ₹55,756 crore, tax administration ₹45,500 crore, external affairs ₹22,119 crore, and the finance ministry ₹20,649 crore. Additionally, ₹6,812 crore has been earmarked exclusively for the development of North Eastern states.
