Bollywood actress Kajol believes the film industry is gradually creating more meaningful opportunities for women by moving beyond conventional supporting roles. Speaking in a recent interview, the actress said she has always chosen projects that inspire her creatively and allow her to make a meaningful impact through her performances. She added that her approach to selecting films remains unchanged, as she only accepts roles she genuinely believes in and immediately declines projects that fail to convince her.

Looking ahead, Kajol said she is eager to experiment with fresh concepts and portray characters she has never attempted before. She also expressed happiness over the increasing focus on women-centric stories, saying the industry is moving in the right direction by writing stronger and more substantial roles for female actors.
