Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with multiple projects, balancing lead roles in films like ‘Train’ and ‘Slum Dog’ while also appearing in guest roles in movies such as ‘Arasan’ and ‘Jailer 2’. Amid his hectic schedule, the actor has made a significant career decision. He revealed that although he previously accepted guest roles based on strong scripts and scope, he has now decided to completely step away from such appearances.
Explaining the reason behind his decision, Sethupathi said that ‘Jailer 2’ would be the only exception, as he agreed to do it solely for Rajinikanth. He noted that in other films, guest roles often receive equal or even greater promotional focus than the main leads, which could impact his primary projects as a lead actor. His comments have sparked widespread debate online, with fans both supporting and questioning his move.
