Varalaxmi Hits Back at Director’s Allegations!

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has responded to allegations made by director Sanjeev Megoti regarding the promotions of their upcoming film ‘Police Complaint,’ which is scheduled for release on June 12. The director recently claimed that despite receiving substantial remuneration, the actress was not cooperating with the promotional activities of the film, sparking debate within the industry.

Addressing the controversy, Varalaxmi stated that she attended all events and commitments for which she was invited. She also noted that she was not fully aware of the comments made by the director during the film’s pre-release event and therefore did not wish to react without complete information. While expressing her desire not to escalate the issue, the actress later shared a cryptic Instagram post that many interpreted as an indirect response to the director's remarks.
