

Actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar has responded to allegations made by director Sanjeev Megoti regarding the promotions of their upcoming film Police Complaint, which is set to release on the 12th of this month. The director had accused Varalakshmi of not participating in promotional activities and failing to give interviews despite receiving payment. Addressing the controversy, the actress clarified that she had attended events and was available whenever required. She stated that she does not wish to escalate the issue further.
Varalakshmi added that she participated in all major film-related events and was not fully aware of what the director had said during a recent function. Emphasizing her personal views, she mentioned that she prefers not to publicly engage in such disputes. In a note shared on Instagram, she stated that she chooses to focus on her work rather than making counter-allegations. Earlier, Sanjeev Megoti had also alleged that her lack of cooperation during dubbing caused significant losses to the film, sparking widespread discussion.
