Malayalam beauty Malavika Mohanan is set to make her Telugu debut with the much-anticipated ‘The Raja Saab’, starring Pan-India superstar Prabhas and directed by Maruti. The film also features Yogi Babu, Sanjay Dutt, Riddhi Kumar and Nidhi Agarwal in pivotal roles. Having completed shooting, the movie is slated for release on January 9, coinciding with Sankranti celebrations.

In a recent interview, Malavika Mohanan shared her views on Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stating that he prioritizes the uniqueness and talent of actresses over trends, hype or popularity. She added that his approach of giving significant opportunities to actresses like Kiara Advani and Triptii Dimri reflects this philosophy.

Malavika expressed her excitement about acting alongside Prabhas in ‘The Raja Saab’. She revealed that Prashanth Neel had intended to meet her personally not just for a photoshoot but the meeting could not take place due to unavoidable circumstances. She noted that this experience underlines the importance of timing, opportunities, and perseverance in the film industry.
