

Producer Namit Malhotra officially launched the global journey of Ramayana with the grand Pratham Sankalp event held in New Delhi ahead of the film's worldwide trailer premiere on July 24, 2026. The event symbolized the beginning of taking India's timeless epic from Bharat to a global audience. Director Nitesh Tiwari, along with lead actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Arun Govil, Shobana, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravie Dubey, Ajinkya Deo and several members of the cast attended the prestigious ceremony. The makers also introduced the Ramayana Schools Programme, which engaged lakhs of students across more than 500 schools in celebrating the epic through creative activities.
Speaking at the event, Namit Malhotra said the film is not just a cinematic project but a mission to present India's greatest cultural legacy with authenticity and world-class craftsmanship. Director Nitesh Tiwari described Ramayana as a timeless story built on universal values, while Sunny Deol expressed gratitude for portraying Lord Hanuman. Sai Pallavi called playing Maa Sita a blessing, Yash said the entire team is united with the vision of taking Lord Rama's story to a global platform, and Ranbir Kapoor paid heartfelt tribute to Arun Govil, whose portrayal of Lord Rama inspired generations. Ramayana - Part One is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release during Diwali 2026.
