Jason Sanjay Reveals Which Vijay Classic He Would Like to Direct a Sequel To

Tamil star Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is set to make his directorial debut with Sigma. During a promotional interview, he was asked which of his father’s films he would choose to make a sequel to—Pokiri or Sachin. Surprisingly, Jason did not pick either film. Instead, he expressed interest in making a sequel to Badri, saying he liked the confidence and distinctive personality of the protagonist.

Jason also recalled watching several films with his father during his childhood. He said the memories associated with Pokiri remain special to him and added that it would be exciting whenever Vijay and Ajith’s films competed at the box office. Vijay’s Badri was a Tamil remake of Pawan Kalyan’s Thammudu and became a successful film. Jason’s directorial debut Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan, is scheduled to release on October 2.
