After keeping their private life under wraps for over a year, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh chose Diwali to share their little bundle of joy with the world. The couple, who became parents on September 8 last year, unveiled the first photo of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.
Earlier, they had asked the paparazzi for space, but this festive season, they couldn’t resist sharing a heartwarming family moment. In the photos, Deepika, Ranveer, and baby Dua looked picture-perfect in traditional attire. Deepika and her tiny twin wore red, while Ranveer complemented them in a cream kurta and jacket. Dua looked absolutely adorable with her tiny ponytails and the biggest smile.
One picture showed her pointing at something and biting her fingers while her parents watched, utterly enamored. An additional image from their puja exuded a cozy, intimate atmosphere—a peaceful respite amid the joyous commotion. Instantly, the post went viral. Fans couldn't stop referring to Dua as the "cutest Diwali surprise," while celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Neha Dhupia, and Sanjay Kapoor responded with heart emojis. As everyone marveled at her joyful little face, her name, "Dua," which means prayer, felt even more appropriate. This Diwali, for Deepika and Ranveer, was about sharing their greatest blessing with the world, not about lavish festivities or ostentatious attire
On the professional front, Ranveer’s next film, Dhurandhar, is set to release on December 5, 2025, while Deepika is preparing for AA22XA6 alongside Allu Arjun a pairing that’s already generating massive buzz.
