Chennai Love Story, written by Sai Rajesh and directed by Ravi Namburi, stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles. The film follows the emotional journey of a young woman whose fiancé abandons her on her wedding day, leaving her heartbroken. Her life gradually changes after she meets Steven Shankar, an aspiring filmmaker, who helps her overcome the pain of heartbreak. The first half effectively captures emotions, love, friendship, and healing, keeping the audience emotionally engaged.
The second half, however, shifts towards a fantasy-driven narrative that may not appeal to every viewer. Despite this, Kiran Abbavaram's composed performance, Sri Gouri Priya's emotional portrayal, Mani Sharma's soulful music, and Viswas Daniel's cinematography stand out as the film's major strengths. While the movie offers an emotional romantic experience, its overall success largely depends on how audiences receive the second-half screenplay.
