Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming film Dada has been generating considerable interest among moviegoers. The film is being presented as a 1980s-era gangster action drama, with Gopichand Malineni revealing that Balakrishna will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. His body language, style, swag and mannerisms are expected to be among the film’s key attractions.
The director has also indicated that Dada will not rely solely on mass action. Similar to the family emotions seen in films such as Narasimha Naidu and Simha, the upcoming movie is said to feature strong emotional elements that audiences may not expect. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead, while Manchu Manoj is set to appear as the antagonist. Sarath Kumar and Samuthakani are also part of the cast in important roles. Thaman is composing the music, and a recently released dialogue glimpse has received significant attention on social media. The makers are planning a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
