Usually, filmmakers try to hide their film’s story till the release to surprise audiences in theatres. Some others reveal hints through promotions so that viewers get a basic idea. But if too much of the story is revealed early, curiosity may reduce and sometimes it can even affect the film negatively.
However, young hero Aadi Saikumar says he is not worried about that. In a recent interview, he openly shared the story of his upcoming film Shambhala. According to Aadi, he plays a young scientist who looks at everything from a scientific point of view. When he learns that an asteroid has fallen in a village, he goes there to study it, believing it is a scientific matter. But the villagers are deeply religious and strongly believe in superstitions. They think the asteroid is linked to evil forces. The film revolves around how the hero faces the villagers, challenges their beliefs and uncovers the truth behind the asteroid incident.
Stories where a scientific-minded hero enters a village filled with blind beliefs have been seen before, like Karthikeya. Even though Shambhala follows a similar base idea, Aadi says this film has many new elements. He adds that the screenplay is the main strength, with several fresh scenes, constant suspense and surprising moments throughout. Directed by ugandhar Muni, Shambhala is set to release as a Christmas treat on December 25.
