Balakrishna is reportedly set to appear in a completely new look, with the first schedule expected to begin in the first week of next month. A massive set is said to be under construction for the action sequences planned for the opening schedule.

Several names have been linked to the female lead, but the latest buzz suggests that Aishwarya Lekshmi has been finalized as the heroine. The first schedule is reportedly planned to focus on scenes that do not require Balakrishna and is expected to continue for more than 15 days. The film is said to blend family emotions with a different storyline, with Koratala Siva reportedly paying special attention to the script after Devara. Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing the film.
