UAE Murder Mystery: Karnataka Man Found Dead in Sharjah

The victim, identified as Alwin Prakash Kunder from Kundapur in Udupi district, had been working at Sharjah Airport for around 14 years. According to his brother Anil Prashanth Kunder, the family became concerned after Alwin stopped responding to calls around July 20. Instead, a text message saying he was fine was sent from his phone, which appeared unusual to the family as he normally communicated through voice messages. A subsequent inquiry reportedly showed that he had not returned to India, leading to a missing-person complaint.

During the investigation, Alwin’s body was reportedly found inside a car parked along a route towards Oman. His brother said the remains had been cut into nine pieces and placed in two bags. Alwin’s wife, Tina Kunder, who works as a schoolteacher in Sharjah, and their teenage son are currently untraceable, according to reports. However, their whereabouts and any possible connection to the murder have not been officially established. Authorities are investigating the circumstances and motive behind the killing, while Alwin’s family has said it was unaware of any dispute between the couple. His brother has also approached Udupi police seeking assistance, and the family is awaiting further communication from UAE authorities.
