SBI to Withdraw High Court Petition

Representatives of SBI and Metro Rail officials met the Chief Secretary at the Secretariat in Hyderabad to discuss issues related to the 5-acre land parcel at Raidurg and the valuation of Metro Phase-1 assets. Officials reviewed the process of estimating the value of the first phase of the metro project.

SBI reportedly softened its stand regarding the 5-acre land dispute at Raidurg. The bank representatives informed the Chief Secretary that they would withdraw the petition filed in the High Court. In return, the state government agreed to provide an alternative land parcel to SBI.
