Kishan Reddy Inaugurates Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway Station

Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy participated in the inauguration of the ‘Komuravelli Punyakshetram’ railway station and marked the occasion by personally purchasing the first ticket at the station. Before attending the railway programme, Kishan Reddy visited the Komuravelli Mallanna temple, where priests led by chief priest Mahadevuni Mallikarjun welcomed him with a traditional Purnakumbham. The Union Minister offered special prayers to Lord Mallanna before proceeding to the newly inaugurated railway station.

At the station, Kishan Reddy formally flagged off the train and became one of its first passengers. Following the inauguration, he travelled up to Gajwel railway station along with Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, South Central Railway officials and other leaders. After reaching Gajwel, the Union Minister and others left for Hyderabad by road. The new railway station is expected to improve rail connectivity for devotees travelling to the famous Komuravelli pilgrimage centre.
