Investigation Launched Into Fire Incident at Government Building

A major fire broke out in a nine-storey government building in Alipore, Kolkata, West Bengal, destroying around 4,000 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Firefighters battled the blaze for over 24 hours to bring it under control.

The EVMs reportedly belonged to 10 constituencies used in the recent assembly elections. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine whether there was any conspiracy behind the incident.
