The Suryalanka coastline has turned turbulent, with huge waves crashing against the shore. Heavy rain since midnight has flooded low-lying areas and submerged agricultural fields. The rough sea conditions have also raised concerns among coastal residents and fishermen.

Meanwhile, NDRF personnel are carrying out relief operations and clearing uprooted trees from roads to restore traffic movement. Several areas have also experienced power disruptions due to damage caused by strong winds. With heavy rain and rough sea conditions continuing, authorities are monitoring the situation and taking steps to minimise the impact on people in vulnerable areas.
