CM Revanth Seeks Approval for Hyderabad Metro Phase-2

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has urged Union Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to approve the Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project at the earliest. The request was made during a meeting in New Delhi, where the Chief Minister also informed that a detailed project report has already been submitted.

He stated that Hyderabad’s rapid growth requires expansion of the metro network for commuter convenience. He added that with Phase-1 now under state control, the implementation of Phase-2 and Phase-3 would be smoother. He also sought quick approval for the joint venture project between the Centre and the State.
