Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend full support for the state’s development during his speech at the HICC event in Hyderabad. Welcoming the Prime Minister, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with other dignitaries, Revanth Reddy described the programme as a “festival of development” rather than a political event. He emphasized that national security and national development remain the top priorities and reiterated Telangana’s commitment to contributing to the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”
The Chief Minister requested speedy approvals for key infrastructure projects, including the Musi River rejuvenation project, Metro Rail expansion, radial roads, and the proposed 12-lane Hyderabad–Machilipatnam highway. Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that Telangana could become a one trillion-dollar economy by 2034 and a three trillion-dollar economy by 2047 with the Centre’s cooperation. He also proposed the formation of a special single-window task force in the Prime Minister’s Office for faster approvals of nationally important projects in major metro cities, including Hyderabad.
