Cabinet Big Decision.. Green Signal to Gobardhan Scheme!

The Union Cabinet has taken significant decisions aimed at boosting sustainable energy and infrastructure development in the country. It approved a major initiative to promote biogas production under the Gobardhan scheme. As part of this plan, the government will invest ₹23,731 crore to strengthen biogas production and distribution across India, supporting clean energy goals and rural development.

In addition to energy initiatives, the Cabinet has also approved the construction of a four-lane National Highway in Assam. The project, with an estimated cost of ₹8,970 crore, is expected to improve connectivity, boost economic activities, and enhance transportation infrastructure in the region.
